I had a terrible fear of needles — still do — but unfortunately, that didn’t stop me graduating to the needle for the last 2 years of my addiction. My fear of needles however made sure I didn’t go too crazy with it. And at that stage, it was about using any drug (lots of tablets) to numb the mental pain.
