Thank you for the insightful comment Ricardo. I’m big into metaphors and use them in my practice with my clients. So many ideas are best elucidated in analogy and metaphor… it’s still a form of language at the end of the day, unless it’s metaphor to metaphor, but then it still needs to be communicated. My PhD will focus on language and a specific theory that uses metaphor in terms of therapy.
