Thank you. I had a kind of perspective shift in detox and the symptoms eased. But they soon resurfaced. Since then I have used preventative measures such as meditation, exercise, gratitude, and visualisation to keep myself positive and focused. I also keep a close eye on my self-talk through self-observation. This is what I typically write about on medium. Here is a link to my core practice if you want to have a read: https://medium.com/swlh/how-to-find-your-true-self-7460ed7b4b21 Ironically, I also wrote a post called 3 alternative ways to deal with anxiety: https://medium.com/swlh/3-overlooked-methods-to-sidestep-anxiety-219f3418418

Change is possible. I write to show that. Author | Recovered addict | Speaker | PhD candidate. www.brianpennie.com
